Welcome!
I’m Janet Hurley, MD, a family physician and author. After spending the last 23 years as a practicing physician and healthcare leader, I learned how limited traditional medicine has been with addressing patient spiritual struggles. I have written a book to provide spiritual warfare training to healthcare professionals and patients. I’m glad you have stopped by!
My writing experience started with a blog in 2015, called Accepting the Maybe. Sometimes when things are not going the way we desire and we don’t think they can change, perhaps we can accept the fact that maybe they could change. That can bring us one step closer to happier thoughts and peace. Throughout the years, the blog contained positive stories intended to move our minds toward a more positive place. The essence of that blog is spiritual warfare.
My eyes were opened to spiritual warfare when someone I loved was under attack. A friend informed me of The Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson, and my perspective was permanently changed. I went on to teach the Bondage Breaker curriculum numerous times at my local church, during Wednesday nights, Sunday nights, and Sunday mornings. A video series was placed on YouTube, which you can access on the links below.
Please let me know how I might help you break free from condemning thoughts, ongoing temptation, anger, and unforgiveness. Standing firm on the scriptural truth through faith is key but not always easy. We are on this journey together.
